Trailers!!

So just a quick round up of some interesting films coming your way, my way and indeed, the highway.

First Up: Black Snake Moan
Samuel L. Jackson plays a holy bluesman based on the late great R. L. Burnside who finds a troubled young nymphomaniac (Christina Ricci) outside his house and decides its a sign that he must cure her. Looks a little crazy with Jackson summoning all his bible-quoting greatness.




Rocky Balboa
Its arrival is imminent and OH MY GOD it actually looks good. Stallone has done nothing good since Copland around 10 years ago but it looks like he may have recaptured some of the originals inspiring magic.




Sunshine
We don't have a trailer for this but this quick behind-the-scenes is pretty cool. The movie, from Danny Boyle, is an ambitious sci-fi epic that should shoot him into a new directorial stratosphere if it doesn't send him nuts.



Curse of the Golden Flower
Zhang Yimou's gorgeous looking new one is China most expensive ever movie and looks incredible. Small Oscar buzz has surrounded the director but the buzz hasn't actually been too great. Still, Yimou is amazing and we'll give him a chance.



So there we go. Not too much exciting right now but to finish, I give you TRANSFORMERS. It actually looks okay for a Michael Bay film although I'm a little worried too much concentrating on the humans could spoil it. Still, can't wait.
